We bought a new Kenmore washing towels machine.it our tears at the edges?
there is a space of nine 16th an inch from the agitator to the bath. It seems to get under their towels and then plastic casting marks to get the ripped off. Most other machines only have an 8th to a quarter Dissidents under the agitator. and I do not think the towels were on their date, the company will not cooperate Any suggestions
I a Kenmore machine and I know what you're talking about, but What About "dissidents?" In any case, when a towel into the space between the tub and the housing you are definitely overloading of the machine to get. There is no way is something that should always go up in the load, that's high.

Discusses the early life of industrial-rock band Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and how it affected the creation of his landmark album Pretty Hate Machine, in a book that also includes fan memories of the album. Original.
Editor and writer Daphne Carr takes an in-depth look at Nine Inch Nails` and their 1989 debut, PRETTY HATE MACHINE, in this contribution to Continuum Books` fabulous 33 1/3 series. Carr relies heavily on interesting interviews with fans who, like the band`s frontman Trent Reznor, were living in the Midwest in the late 1980s. She also takes a perspective on the band that focuses on the business behind their success: from the way Trent Reznor`s demos were carefully crafted by British producers to the band`s connection with fashion and clothing. This is an all-around look at Nine Inch Nails–taking into account the band`s music, fan base, marketing, and greater cultural context.

With their second album, 2004′s confusingly named Nine, Sweden’s Platitude achieve the remarkable feat of concocting a body of songs that is unquestionably rooted in heavy metal, undoubtedly steeped in progressive rock, and yet, remarkably, still quite palatable for pop consumption. Indeed, even as they firmly plant both feet (or 14, as it were) in those normally quite challenging styles, the septet never loses sight of each song’s commercial potential. Of course, whether this well-meaning intention will actually translate beyond the more open-minded metal and progressive audiences remains to be seen, but it’s definitely great fun to hear angry guitar riffs, machine-gun drumming, and the often pyrotechnic solos of Daniel Hall and Gustav Kollerstrom (fit for both thrash and power metal) combined with such catchy choruses and melodic synth lines. This seemingly conflicting meeting of opposites is first unveiled by head-scratching opener “Dark Mind,” but it’s especially on aggressive singles like “Trust,” “Oblivion” and “Catch 22″ that the formula reaches combustible thresholds — said synths recalling neo-progressive legends Marillion as much as they do new wave romantics Ultravox, amazingly enough! The more extensive (though no less immediate) “Avalon Farewell,” on the other hand, finally sees fit to stretch beyond the six-minute mark (evoking memories of mid-period Diamond Head and other more traditional metal acts in the process), but still manages to steer clear of typical prog rock’s smorgasbord of embellishments with its still relatively simple arrangement. Yet another great set of singles in “Endless” and “Starlight” (plus a hidden track) bring the album to a close, and prove that Platitude may really be onto something here. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi Performers: Daniel Lee Hall – Guitar
This DVD contains the fascinating history of Industrial Rock, an often-overlooked, but vital, contemporary musical form. This film traces the fascinating history of the genre, via its 1970s origins, through its enormous rise to prominence in America in the late 1980s and throughout the 1990s, with NIN as the focal point, to culminate with the current activities of Trent Reznor as he uses marketing and promotional initiatives in a manner just as creative as the music he continues to compose. It features brand new interviews with Genesis P. Orridge, Nine Inch Nails’ Chris Vrenna and Richard Patrick, NIN Biographer and Classic Rock journalist, Tommy Udo, Jon Wiederhorn from Revolver magazine, Chemlab’s Jared Louche and many others. Also features rare footage and music from Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, Depeche Mode, Ministry, Skinny Puppy and, of course, Nine Inch Nails… Plus archive interviews with Trent Reznor, seldom seen live performances, news clips, photographs from private collections and much more.
Taking as a childhood role model the Six Million Dollar Man Steve Austin, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor seems to have had a future in some kind of robotics mapped out for him from an early age. His adoption of machine-based electronic music as his favored

That’s it, screwheads. It’s over. Pack up your trunks, deconstruct the drum kit, and hightail it back to Athens, ’cause the Dillinger Escape Plan just handed you your ass. Again. “Surprise!” new vocalist Greg Puciato begins on “Van Damsel.” “It’s not what you thought as it runs a dead stop.” A thousand bands would’ve quit at “…what you thought”; Dillinger adds “runs a dead stop,” and makes you leap out of the way of its hardcore car crashing into the jazz establishment. No kidding! After five years, the band has lost nothing, only gained. Time signatures are a play toy, genres are a joke, and the wannabes’ goofy “I’m so tortured, listen to me scream” is nowhere to be found. Here, jarring instrumental changes work as a bitches’ brew of stealthy genius, sticking you with a shiv and changing faces in the dark. Technical metal, righteous hardcore, twittering jazz interludes, and starkly melodic, seemingly post-punk-inspired segments all put the punters soundly in their place. Miss Machine doesn’t even really seem that angry. Well, not anger for anger’s sake, anyway. Cuts like “Panasonic Youth” and “We Are the Storm” are fueled by a manic alchemy of metal and hardcore, and Puciato’s veins couldn’t have survived the sessions. But the rage is artful; it’s an integral part of Dillinger’s larger performance. In the near future, rich women and fuddy-duddies will consider Miss Machine through opera glasses as sweaty children lash each other with cat-o’-nine-tails. There’s nothing more to say — the next true image of rock & roll has crawled out of the swamps of Jersey. ~ Johnny Loftus, Rovi
During the nearly three years between Dear Science and Nine Types of Light, the members of TV on the Radio worked on their own projects, which ranged from Tunde Adebimpe’s role in Rachel Getting Married to Kyp Malone’s Rain Machine, to David Sitek’s move to Los Angeles and solo album, Maximum Balloon. When they and the rest of the band reconvened, Sitek’s studio became their home base, and that west coast vibe sets Nine Types of Light apart from their other work. It’s no coincidence that this is the group’s sunniest set of songs; much of the angst and yearning that fueled albums such as Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes, and Dear Science are gone, replaced by a mellower focus on matters of the heart. Nine Types of Light unfolds at an unhurried pace, beginning with a pair of Malone songs that sound like they should close an album rather than begin it. The confessional, ambling “Second Song” takes its sweet time to build up to a mildly funky groove; as it flares into brass and guitar, it sounds like dusk becoming night on the Sunset Strip. “Keep Your Heart” is the musical equivalent of a warm bath, with caressing strings and lyrics like “all these blues I have cried” giving it the feel of the calm after the storm. That the album ends with “Caffeinated Consciousness,” a brief check-in with the righteous fury the band usually displays, underscores how different Nine Types of Light is from what came before it. Though they crank things up on “Repetition” and “No Future Shock,” TV on the Radio sound more comfortable being comfortable, even when getting in some satirical digs at the L.A. mindset (“Beverly Hills/nuclear winter/what should we wear/and who’s for dinner?”) on “Forgotten”’s eternal summer haze. The band has always written about love with the same urgency and eloquence with which they tackle politics and other subjects, and Nine Types of Light is no exception. Adebimpe delivers two of the album’s brightest moments with “You,” a poppy meditation on how deceptive the heat of the moment can be, and the gorgeous “Will Do,” a playful, seductive piece of soul-pop that ranks among TV on the Radio’s finest moments. Indeed, the way the band’s soul undercurrents rise to the fore, as on the psych-soul interlude “Killer Crane,” may be the best and most exciting thing about Nine Types of Light. In many ways, the album feels like a working holiday for the band; even if it’s not as explosive as some of their previous work, it shows that they can age gracefully and try new things at the same time. [Nine Types of Light was also released with two remixes of "Will Do" and a bonus track, "All Falls Down."] ~ Heather Phares, Rovi
On their first CD as a duo, Tom Hamilton (playing a Nord modular synthesizer) and Bruce Eisenbeil (on electric guitar with preparations and effects) have forged a strong free improvisation partnership. Despite the demanding approach and the abstracted nature of their work, they come through with bouncy and witty music. Hamilton, especially, knows how to pace the awkwardness of his modular synth, infusing a healthy dose of humor in his delivery without stripping away the density of the music. In this case, “density” doesn’t mean a wall of noise — the duo’s music leaves room for silence and space — it translates a high level of eventfulness. Sounds bounce back and forth, as Hamilton’s synth jerks and spits out a wide array of short-lived sounds (Thomas Lehn’s style comes to mind), while Eisenbeil achieves pretty much the same effect with his guitar. Plus, the latter rarely sticks to an idea more than a few seconds, varying his techniques, not unlike the restlessness of a Derek Bailey. By now you may be picturing something tiresome (restless, dense, jerky, ever-changing) — wrong. Shadow Machine’s best feature is probably its conciseness: nine nicely-defined tracks, all in the four- to eight-minute range. Another thing going for it is an interesting form of interaction between the musicians. Hamilton and Eisenbeil are clearly listening closely to each other, but it sounds like they have agreed to disagree, follow their own trails, and meet again at different spots along the way. This results in more risk-taking, and a lively set of improvisations. ~ François Couture, Rovi Performers: Bruce Eisenbeil – Guitar; Tom Hamilton – Synthesizer
The last two Vandermark 5 outings, Simpatico and Burn the Incline, were without a doubt sounds from a band coming into their own as a collective. Compositionally they seemed at the wall — at the margin, or limit — of where they could go as a band at that point. In other words, those two records were as good as they could possibly have been. With Acoustic Machine, the story is different altogether. Vandermark has become a composer, not only of compelling new jazz, but also for the Vandermark 5 as a unit. His writing and arranging for Jeb Bishop, Tim Mulvenna, Kent Kessler, and Dave Rempis is player-specific, tailoring certain sections, modes, and intervals to the strengths of particular players, thereby maximizing their contributions to the unit. Because of this development in Vandermark’s already considerable skill as a composer, the Vandermark 5 are a much stronger band. Consequently, Acoustic Machine is a significant step forward for an already fine band. Each of the compositions here is dedicated to a particularly influential artist in Vandermark’s own developmental iconography; the “HBF Series” — the first short pieces ever released by the group, which are interspersed throughout the disc — pays homage to visionary minimalist composer Morton Feldman. Each part in the series is a small work destined to extract the maximum viscera from space and silence while examining the relationships of instruments in tandem with one another timbrally. Other works are dedicated to Archie Shepp, Elvin Jones, Julius Hemphill, Stan Getz, and Lester Young. “Fall to Grace,” dedicated to Jones, is a sprightly, loose-swinging post-bop blues number. Kessler’s bass seems to stride the track, allowing Rempis’ tenor solo before Vandermark and Bishop clamp in for a long, loping melodic line that ends in Kessler’s solo. Vamping out straight from the changes, he jumps two and three intervals at a time until he does a turnaround to climb from the rim of the tune’s architecture back inside it. When the band re-enters, it’s only long enough for Vandermark, Remphis, and Bishop to trade twos and fours on bass clarinet, tenor, and trombone, respectively. “License Complete,” dedicated to Hemphill, builds on the inspirations rooted in R&B and takes the modal way into the blues from there. The gorgeous three-part lyrics are interspersed with brief solo statements. Bishop’s solo — in its languid, gut-bucket way — sums up the sentiment of the tune, while Vandermark’s kicks the R&B sensibility toward the funk model with vamps and legato runs entwined. And while the entire album is noteworthy, track for track, it’s the Feldman pieces and “Stranger Blues,” for Lester Young, that sum up what the V5 are all about at this period in time. Over nine-plus minutes, the V5 explore the underside of the swing and blues idioms — smooth, seamless, and rounded-off, but very direct in their languid, seductive precision. They know where to take the changes and then take them apart in order to
There are three types of sewing machines- mechanical sewing machines, electronic sewing machines, and computerized sewing machines. Since their introduction in 1800 till 1960′s, all sewing machines were mechanical. Mechanical sewing machines are controlled by a rotary wheel. They have knobs and dials to make changes in the tension or the length or width of the stitch.
Lockstitch sewing machines make use of a hook and a bobbin thread to create stitch patterns, whereas chain stitch machines use a looper to form stitches. One of the major drawbacks of chain stitching is that it is very weak and the stitch can easily be pulled apart. In addition to lock stitching and chain stitching machines, there are blind stitch and buttonhole-and-button-sewing machines that use a spreader to create stitches.
Mechanical sewing machines are less expensive and are the simplest type of sewing machine in terms of build. Bernina 1008, Kenmore 11101, Singer 6038, Elna 2005, Kenmore Mini, Kenmore 15212, and Sears Kenmore 15218 are some of the mechanical sewing machines available in the market.
By the year 1970, electronic sewing machines became popular. There are more features in an electronic sewing machine than in a mechanical sewing machine. Instead of turning knobs or dials, electronic sewing machines use button to adjust length or width of the stitch. Electronic sewing machines have motors; each one is assigned with a specific task and is run by electricity. Singer 7442, Singer 7462, Singer CE-100 Futura, Elna 3230, and Janome Decor Excel 5124 are some instances of electronic sewing machines.
Another type is the computerized sewing machine, which is very fast and easy to use. Computerized sewing machines are similar to electronic sewing machines. They use the same chips and stepper motors that are used in electronic machines. Besides, they posses a microprocessor which helps the sewing machine to accept new information in a card form and create stitching patterns based on the information loaded in the card. Singer CE-200 Quantum Futura, Singer Quantum XL-6000, Brother SE270D, and Janome 8080 are some examples of computerized sewing machine.
