I am 15 years old and I'm just not feel like I'm not excited at all. Christmas is tomorrow and I will in the spirit before it is too late. My house has decorations, I have a tree wih plenty of presents under it is, there is snow outside and everything. I know not why, but I'm just not know how excited I was for the first 14 years of my life. Any help? Thank you and happy holidays!
I know I'm 15 too. I feel the spirit in the first week of December with the Christmas movies on ABC Family and Disney Channel. Also with Christmas carols to 103.5 KOST. But if Christmas break came along and I'm out of school, I do not feel in the Christmas mood, every time I look at the burden of the work of my teacher and AP European History gave me. I have no time for television or I can not turn on the radio, or it will be a distraction.
For many, the Christmas season can be filled with distractions and anxiety rather than the joy and peace it is supposed to bring. In The Christmas Spirit, his first holiday book, Joel Osteen offers uplifting and inspiring stories of family and friends cel

Before you get all caught up in holiday busyness, take a few moments to think about what you want to create this season. How do you want your holiday to be? Getting clear on your intention for the season will help you create more of what you want.
What does in mean to you to “be in the spirit of the holidays”? If you had a great festive season, what would it look like? Once you get clear on this, it is much easier to take steps in the direction of making them happen since you will know how you want it to look. Clarity will also allow you to communicate with others so they might see a similar picture to the one you paint.
Be sure you focus on how YOU will be. One of the traps we can get in to is the expectation of others. Be sure to get clear on how YOU will be, what mood YOU want to be in, how much YOU want to give, and how much time YOU want to spend with others. It is not until you show up how YOU want to be that you can possibly start suggesting to others how you want them to be.
The greatest thing is to inspire others to follow your lead and create a fun and peaceful holiday. Ground yourself it what the true meaning of this season is again. And spread it around!
“Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas”. ~ Calvin Coolidge
Write it down. Write a paragraph or a page on how you want your holidays to be. What do you want to see, hear, smell, touch and taste? This vision will put a smile on your face and help you make it happen too.
Define what “holiday spirit” means to you and write this down too. Then, when the season isn’t going quite how you planned, you can refocus on this definition and allow yourself to find peace in the moment.
It is much easier to create when you clearly define what it is you desire. And the Universe will give you exactly what you want… when you are clear enough to state what that is in a meaningful and sincere way.
