Hello, I'm learning Linux in a class this semester. We have learned some basic shell programming. Now give us a project for work in the laboratory. We have three choices to make: Select a new distribution, remastering CD or Linux programs. The problem is, I have submit to the topic this week. Making new distro sounds too confusing for me, so i guess remastering cd would be better. But … How Remaster I do? What should I Remaster? … what cd remastering? Can you suggest me a topic, it should include specific conditions in certain area, such as multimedia, or what? The main point is, can Please explain to me in great detail how this Remaster? Please .. Help, I worked with Windows all my life … I know nothing about these things, but I'm curious to learn. Thanks
I would suggest you focus on some of the functions. You will notice that some of the features are required, one of the two other options that you do list, and you need to understand the utilities FIRST. Maybe you could make a "small" job finding utility that a newer or better, and write the program needs work, that a better program.
